8. Getting the Lamp to Flash

In the last exercise the lamp stayed lit continuously.

In this program we will be using the Stop Icon to get the lamp to flash.

1. The RCX Cart should move forwards for 4 seconds.
2. The lamp should be On for 1 second and then Off for one second.
3. The Cart should then move backwards for 4 seconds with,
4. the lamp continuing to flash 1 second On and 1 second Off.

Remember you lamp should be attached to Port B.

What you have to do!

1. Plan your program by completing Task 12 in your Robolab Progress Extension Grids
2. Start the Robolab Software - if it isn't already open..
3. Create the program and transfer it to the cart.
• If you run out of space you can carry your icons down onto another line.
4. Once the program is working correctly Tick Off Task 8 in the main Robolab Progress Grids.
