Textured Text Effect

This is a common effect and very similar to patterned text. The image shows two different effects

 

Step 1

Type your text on the canvas. Again, it's a good idea to use a big bold font so that the texture can be clearly seen. The font used in the above examples is Eras Bold ITC

Step 2

Select the text. Click on Color Fill>Fill Option>Texture. For the bottom example in the image above, choose the pattern Plaster.

Set the Amount Texture to 94%

It's that easy!

 

 

To get the look!

For the top example:

1. Font is Eras Bold ITC with a font size of 57.
   
   
2. The Texture Fill is Line Vert 3. The amount texture 90%

The settings for the bottom example are given in Step 2 above.
