5. Creating slide Backgrounds

PowerPoint includes many tools to provide an attractive background to the content you place on a slide.

Here you will make a background taken from a picture file that will then be used as a key feature on most of the pages in your presentation.

WARNING WARNING

Many of the movies have been made on an Apple Computer. PowerPoint on a PC is a little different.

But adding backgrounds can be achieved in the same way on PC's.

Another is to "right click" on a blank part of the slide and choose Background from the Context menu.

Simples!

 

 

What you have to do!

1. Following the steps in the movie add a background for Homer's page using the 3 frame album file.
2. Create 2 more slides for Lisa and Maggie’s page. A background should be created for each page using the required background file.
• Can you work out which background file you should use for each character?
