Introduction

A Multimedia file is one containing many (multi) types of objects blended together such as text, pictures, sounds, animations and movies.

On completion of this Powerpoint Multimedia unit, you should be able to display skills that will allow you to:

Insert a picture image into a file

Create a timed animation effect on the picture, with a sound attached

Use animation effects for an object already displayed on a slide

Insert any chosen picture as a slide background

Insert a shape such as a rectangle, circle etc. and fill it with a chosen picture

Fill an irregularly created shape with a picture

Insert a slide from a different file

Create links to slides (action settings) using objects such as pictures

Record sounds and add them to a file

Change the show setup of a file

To Do

View the movie file Completed_Show_Clip to see a completed version of the file. Your version will not have to appear exactly like this. You will use your own animation features, fonts etc. as you see fit.

Download the files required to create the presentation by clicking on the button below. The extracted folder should be moved to your documents folder.
