Exercise 10: Using Action Settings
Much of this presentation runs automatically. However, on the home page
the person viewing the presentation should be able to pick the character they
want to see details of.
This uses action settings on a picture or text that can then be clicked (or have
the mouse move over it) to move to another area of the presentation.
10. Follow the steps in the movie Action_Settings_clip.
b. Set action settings for the other characters to go to the correct page when clicked.
Exercise 11: Yet More Animation
Each character page has their title (found in the titles folder) appear as an animation. The example shown uses the animation centre resolve.

11. Include the title and apply an animation effect of your own choosing to each character’s page.
Exercise 12: Text Animation
12. On your Homer page, insert a text box containing the following;

b. Animate the text to play as soon as the final photo frame of Homer appears on the page (the teacher’s example used the Preset Animation Typewriter).
c. Add and animate a similar text box on Lisa and Maggie pages. You choose where the text should go. The text for each is shown below:
