WARNING WARNING
Many of the movies have been made on an Apple Computer. PowerPoint on a PC is a little different.
But recording sound into your presentation can be achieved in the same way.
- On a PC you will only be able to complete this exercise if you have a separate microphone. On Apple computers microphones are part of the computer.
- On PC's ask your teacher if you have to do this exercise in which case they will lend you a microphone.
What you have to do!
- On your Homer page, insert a text box reading:
- This should be animated to appear after the text box giving details about Homer
- Follow the steps in the movie to record yourself reading out the text in the text box.
- Place the sound close to the text box you created in step 1.
- Do a similar voice-over for all the other characters.
- Add the file home_button.gif to Homer’s page and Create an action setting to go to the home page.
- After testing that the link works, copy and paste the picture to each other character’s page.
- The picture should appear on the same place on each page and the action setting should work.
- Fully test your presentation to see that it works.
