| With Word-processing programs, it is very easy to change the way text is laid out on the page. This is called Justification and can easily done by highlighting the text and clicking buttons in the Tool bars or FORMATTING PALETTE |

Left Alignment. Lines text up against the left margin |
| |
Right Alignment. Lines the text up against the right margin. |
 |
 |
Center Alignment. Lines up the text exactly between the margins |
|
|
Fully Justified. Lines the text up against both margins by increasing the space between words. |
