Task C: FORMAT TEXT

Another advantage to Word-processing is that the appearance of text in documents can be easily changed. You can change:-

Different Fonts
the FONT or the design of the appearance of text.
Some Different fonts and Styles
Font Style
the STYLE of the font for example, Bold, Italic, Underlined, Shadow or Strike through.
Different Effects
Font Size
the SIZE of the font.
Font Colour
the COLOUR of the font.

Tip
  1. Enter all your text before making any changes. Then you can see how each change affects the look of your complete document, rather than just the word or few words you change.
  2. Limit the number of different fonts, sizes, styles and colour in your document. Too many and it will become messy and difficult to read. As a general rule there should only be about three differences in each document.
The reason for making these format change (different fonts, styles, sizes and colour's) is to make your documents more attractive and interesting to read.
