Introduction

A spreadsheet is a piece of software that mainly deals with numbers and calculations.

On completion of this Excel Spreadsheet unit, you should be able to display skills that will allow you to:

Add text and numbers to a new spreadsheet file

Adjust the width of a column

Use a range of formatting features to improve the presentation of a spreadsheet

Use formulae using add (+), subtract (-), multiply (*) and divide (/)

Use a formula to calculate a percentage

Handling 'What if' situations

Working with the SUM and AVERAGE functions

Create different types of charts such as bar graphs, pie charts and line graphs
