3. Inserting Word Art into Presentations

Text can have its font, size, colour etc. changed to make it stand out. When you need a really big text effect in PowerPoint, it can be better to use WordArt.

Try not to overuse this effect, as the appeal may be lost on your presentation. Stick to using it for a main slide heading as shown here.

WARNING WARNING

The movies have been made on an Apple Computer. There are some differences with the PC, but these can be solved by using the Menus along the Top of the program window.

To Insert a Image on a PC

1. Click on the Insert Menu.
2. Choose Picture
3. Slide to the right and choose Word Art.
4. Follow the remainder of the steps shown in the movie.

What you have to do!

1. Open your Animal Presentation. - double click on animal presentation.ppt file
2. On the second slide and insert Lion text as Word Art.
3. Tick Off Exercise 3 in your Progress Grids.

 

 

What you can now do!

• Insert WordArt

• Change WordArt style
