Exercise 5: ADDING RECORDS
 
Add Record With computerised databases it is very easy to ADD new records. This is another big advantage they have over manual databases.
Imagine having to re-write the telephone directory because someone new arrives and needs their name inserted into the list in alphabetical order.
 
Tip Press the Tab key to move easily from field to field Tab Key
 
 
TO DO - In the Flights database
Watch the Adding Records Movie 5 and practice ADDING the records shown in the table below.
 
  1. To separate Hours and Minutes in the Time field hold down the Shift Key and press the colon : key.
  2. Do not type the £ sign. The Ticket Price field has been 'formatted' to currency and puts this in automatically.
