9. New Column Layout

A big advantage that computerised databases have over manual databases is that you can choose what information is to be presented and how it is shown to users. Information can be presented either in:-

1. Columns or as a list, or:
2. Form layout. - covered in the next exercise

Watch the New Column Layout Movie and CREATE a new COLUMN layout, using colour's of your choice, making it as interesting as possible. But remember that it still has to be useful and readable to others.

 

 

 

 

 

 

What you have to do!

1. Using the Flights database and following the process in the movie to Create a New Column Layout.
2. In the layout you can:
   • Use colour's of your choice.
   • The aim is to make it as interesting as possible.
3. But it has to be readable and understandable by others.
4. Your new layout needs to include ONLY the columns
   • Flight Number
   • City
   • Price
