8. Changing Layouts

Compared with manual databases, it is very easy with computerised databases to change the way information is presented to people. Like many other computer files you can change:

1. The SIZE and STYLE of text.
2. The COLOUR of text

You can even change:

• The colour of the fields; and these can be different to the:
• The Background colour of the page; and:
• Even the colour's of the Header and Footer can be different.

Watch the Changing Layouts Movie 8 and practice changing the list layout, using colour's of your choice, making it as interesting as possible.

 

What you have to do!

1. Using the Flights database and following the process in the movie modify the layout.
   • Use colour's of your choice.
   • The aim is to make it as interesting as possible.
2. But it has to be readable and understandable by others.
