5. Adding Records

With computerised databases it is very easy to ADD new records. This is another big advantage they have over manual databases.

Imagine having to re-write the telephone directory because someone new arrives and needs their name inserted into the list in alphabetical order.

1. To separate Hours and Minutes in the Time field hold down the Shift Key and press the colon : key.
2. Do not type the £ sign. The Ticket Price field has been 'formatted' to currency and puts this in automatically.
