Data Dictionary

A data dictionary is used to provide information about the data held in a database. It is, in effect, data about data. The term for this is metadata.

Keeping a data dictionary should help to ensure that mistakes are limited when it comes to creating the physical structure of the database on the computer.

Stuck? Not sure how the above is useful? Any comments at all? This is the place to put them.
