Creating Objects on the Form

 

How to Add Objects to your Form! Go Full Screen to see in greater detail?

For every program you write, you will start with a Form (a VB Express object) and you will add various other objects before you get down to the business of writing code.

These include:-

1. Labels
2. Textboxes
3. Listboxes

Let's get started with our first form and set of objects.

What you have to do!

1. Watch Movie 5 which introduces Objects, and;
2. Add the objects as shown on the movie (command button, label, text box and list box).
3. Tick Off your Progress Grids.

 

Mark off Exercise 1 in your progress grids.

 

What you should now be able to do!

• Add a text box to a form

• Add a label to a form and change text property

• Add a command button to a form and change text property

• Add a list box to a form
