The advantage that this method has over the others is
the degree of control you have over the final look. You can use the sub-selection tool to move objects about and the freeform and the reshape area tool to make final tweeks to get it just te way you want.
You can change the colour of the text in the same way as any other text.
This is the last grunge effect. It's slightely more sphisticated than the other, in that it includes a background that you create from using the various fills available to you in fireworks.
The three different effects have been included not just to provide you with practice of using the various tools and effects available, BUT also to show you there no one right way of producing an image you want.
There are different ways of achieving the same result and shows that the real problem is not knowing how to use the tools, but in having the starting idea and then choosing a suitable method of achiving it.

Think of your faviourite band and create a suitable cover using your own text.
